Exactly. As well as break clauses that reduce the figure significantly I'd imagine there's an agreed sum or percentage in there for either party to terminate the contract early. I think Phil might have suggested at one point that he'd heard that if we sack him within the first 2 years of the deal we have to pay up 2.5 years of it but I might be misremembering the detail and I'm not sure it was presented as solid def info. | |

If Evans genuinely, genuinely, gave him 5 years contract with a "payment in full if terminated early" clause then he's an absolute dope and fully deserves the massive loss he's about to take on 13 years of investment. | |
