There has been an influx of posters who don't really think things through and seem to believe that accuracy is reflected by how many posts you make rather than the content of the posts.
It's causing some divisions because it's hugely annoying. It's also noticeable that it's caused a decrease in postings from a number of regulars.

Back before the internet and this forum, I used to fall out with myself all the time over the ongoings at Ipswich. Now it is much easier to compartmentalise my warring thoughts into several hundred accounts.
Obviously this causes increasing division amongst the supporter base though, particularly whenever there is a new great schism. |  |

It's called having an opinion. Opinions will differ. Has always been so even before the days of the internet and social media...used to be down the pub on a Friday or Saturday evening.
The difference nowadays is 'unsocial media' breeds a climate of intolerance towards other people's viewpoints...as you dont have to face the person 'face to face'. You are shielded by a disconnect between you and the other viewpoint holder. We have all become keyboard warriors to some degree...time to bring back a modicum of decorum me thinks. But hey!...that's just my observed opinion. |  |
