It is a friendly. We have no idea if it is an injury or another reason for absence and no idea whether it is for one friendly or for longer.
I doubt there is a club in the country without one player unavailable for some reason at some point between now and the first match of the season. |  |

My new favourite player!
Totally fearless and tireless left-sided player who was the standout (for me) in the FA Youth Cup win against the Blades. Can’t believe he’ll be a regular even on the bench this season but great to see him getting some decent early involvement. |  |

Humphreys is probably more useful as a left-sided player in his own right. He looked comfortable in defence and attack so can also drop back and cover Penney going forward.
I hope Dobra is generally given a freer, more central role this season anyway. | |

I thought Humpreys was the stand out player in the semi final and final impressed me more than Gibbs always had his head up knew what he wanted to
