Anyone else surprised we haven't seen more of him?

I know I wasn't his biggest fan but only coz his end product left a lot to be desired.. but where's he gone? Think he got a cameo for 5 minutes recently. Can't remember when. But apart from that I thought he'd be one of the first players we would see dramatically improved by the arrival of KM and the coaching team.

I kind of hope with KmcK's coaching and Aluko and possibly Celina gone in the summer, he's a ready made step in to the squad. Otherwise he and Harper are a massive waste caught up in the upheaval of managers.

I was thinking, with the right coaching, he could maybe take one of the AM roles. He has the work rate required, but the positional side of it will take some work I'd think.

Truly amazing to me that Jackson gets time that Edwards could be getting.

Looked a high end Championship player (or better) first half away at Cheltenham. Most exciting player in a blue shirt in living memory.

Weren’t Edwards and Harper signed at the suggestion of Mike O’Leary with his West Brom connections? Probably best stay away from on pitch footballing matters in future Mike.

I think as we reach the business end of the season that KM isn’t taking too many gambles and going with what he knows.

Edwards, Harper and a couple of others on the fringes will get a fresh start pre season.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

Jackson looks to me exactly the type that a good coach would fancy getting something out of. Raw materials wise he could and should be a handful. That’s why, despite him being quite rubbish for us in the most part, he’s had clubs in the championship having a look at him.

The problem is that they’re probably wrong because he’s 28 next week and has scored about 30 football league goals in his life, but I could see it being a project that excites someone like McKenna.

He gets the ball, runs, fails to pass and misses a shot. That’s his entire game, he along with Harper, Carroll and Burgess have to be among the worse players we’ve signed since the drop.

Just my opinion, which is probably shared by most others, but you seem a little bit negative. And tedious.

That's a massive overstatement. He was exciting, but ultimately he did nothing in that game.

Says a lot about the crap we've seen at PR for the last 12 years or so.

He looked superb when he came on at Burton. I remember thinking ‘wow, what have we got here?’ When he cut inside and lashed one onto the bar from about 25 yards out. There’s been the odd glimpse since but it’s clearly working for him yet.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I was thinking the same, where might he fit in? And whether he'd be getting many minutes at all, in the current system.... I suppose there's a chance, with the right guidance. He could be developed, to play in the Cellina role? .. He turns 24 years old, this week (according to Wiki). That's not an age to be getting zero game time... He's an exciting player, on his day... But ,You have to wonder, whether he just ends up, another fall out casualty, like Fraser did. Off the back of all those Summer signings. Especially, given our change in formation, since his arrival..

I've only been on here very briefly over the past week or so, but have I missed something? Is Aluko leaving in the summer? If so, that would be a real shame.

Yes he did look top quality first half that evening . Since then he seemed to have a real rush of blood every time he got himself into a good position . My hope is that our coaching staff can work with him .

Whilst this is true I think Edwards has so much obvious talent and workrate, that he could easily fulfil a role the same or similar as Jackson with some training and game time. I feel the same about Bakinson/Harper.

I think with the right sort of coaching and guidance both Edwards and Harper will be big players for us

Both have noticeable attributes to play at a higher level it's whether McK can get that out of them
