Sadly not because it will be "Leave Boris alone. It is all a witch hunt because he got Brexit done" or something.

... and really, what the f@ck were the Met Office doing, if he wasn't given a fixed penalty for that event... if ITV can find that evidence... then clearly a lot of people were lying to the police OR the police are complicit

The bottle on the table and Boris' gestures clearly depict this was a proper boozy session, where he was involved

We HAVE to get this government out... we have to start addressing the Brexit challenge properly and in consultation with out European neighbours...this jingoistic anti-Brussels mind set is causing deep deep damage... all aided by the Daily Mail

The Sue Gray meeting set-up is a scandal.. just lie upon lie... and I wonder if Sue Gray was going to go against the Met and call out the event that ITV has exposed.. because frankly if she doesn't then the report is not credible

You have to remember the head job at the Met is up for grabs so none of the senior policeman will want to upset Boris and ruin their chances of promotion

I doubt the bloater will be having much say in who is the next Met chief

His only say will soon be

"you having the top bunk Imran, and fancy our old chum ex xxxxMP being on the same wing "

Do you care about the fact that this Government have increased the power of Ministers to make laws without reference to Parliament, and at the same are legislating to end the ability of Judges to rule on the legality of Ministers decisions?

Or that they have criminalised peaceful protest? With the threshold for whether it constitutes a criminal offence being whether it is "annoying"?

That means that a Minister can make up a law which takes away your rights, Parliament will have no say in the matter, and if you complain about it afterwards then you can be arrested for protesting. This also politicises the Police, as they have a say on what is and isn't acceptable protest. They had a taste of that with Covid rules. Can we trust the Police to use this new power responsibly and in support of a free and fair United Kingdom? An example might be women with candles being manhandled by Met officers because they are daring to say that police officers shouldn't use their warrant cars to abduct lone women so that they can murder them.

This is how fascism starts.

Now some people seem oblivious to all this, but the fact that they had to cancel weddings/couldn't visit sick or dying relatives/couldn't go to funerals whilst Number 10 staff and Ministers broke the laws they imposed on us is hitting home. And photos make it all more real to people.

And these photos show that the decision of the Met not to fine BJ for this party is indefensible. And smacks of the symbiotic relationship between the Tory Government and the institutionally corrupt, misogynistic, racist Metropolitan Police.

So, yes, we're bothered, because photos tell a story.

Like this one does:
