Bizarre isn’t it? We’ve been saying al season we need to be one street wise and have better in game management. We bring in two players early in the window to add a toughness to the squad and there’s some out there ridiculing it.
A couple more in forward positions including Celina and a left back and we’re all but done. |  | | |

Celina plus a couple more players and I will be happy. Don't want another 10 new players at the start of the season again. We have the nucleus of a decent team (at this level), so just need a few decent additions, not the massive numbers seen in previous recent season. |  | | |

We were disappointed with Waggy and laughed at by Rangers fans, non plussed with Mcgoldrick, and Murphy I will wait to see how they play before passing judgement, for me we need to be more physically imposing and we have done that here adding a striker with goals in lg 1 and a champ level defensive mid, looks promising to me, we are not getting the Twines of this world while in league 1 |  |

So, basically, you are simply saying that Ball is a poor signing as we don't need anything more than we already have in his position(s).
However, he has the ability to cover several positions and has a lot of experience at a higher level whilst still only being just under 27. Most QPR fans seem to think they should have kept him on too.
What about Ladapo makes him a better signing?
Overall, we need a slimmer squad with far better balance than we have had for a long time now. However, we do need sufficient quality in the squad too. This isn't bringing in an extra body in my opinion. McKenna will intend him to make plenty of first team appearances I expect.
Last season we had a squad of around 31 players (27 played league matches for us with a further 4 playing in cups and several more appearing on the bench at times). We currently have around 23 in the first team squad with a clear intention to loan a couple of those out. |  |
