Looks like he's off to Forest.

It's been a interesting one because he blatantly partly signed for Newcastle so that they weakened a rival. Would you therefore classify his move as a success, as Burnley ultimately went down?

Makes sense that Wood should play for Forest innit.

His move was a massive success for them. Kept them up, weakened a rival and scored some important goals. He was what they needed and they knew they would move him on again quickly.

So there's no truth in the rumour that he maple other women when his missus is away (on a beech holiday perhaps).

Was dreadful when he played for us, but I suspect he wasn't fully fit.

I think he did what Newcastle needed him to do when they were in a difficult position, with the added benefit it weakened a rival.

He did the job that was asked of him at Newcastle and helped to keep them up. The Toon Army are now fishing in a completely different pond, so not really a surprise they’ve moved him on.

Cooper at Forest seems like he’s found a formula and his best XI after the 50,000 new signings they made in the summer. CW will add some depth and experience to their striker options. Feel it’s a good signing for Forest and I can see them staying up after a difficult start.

This.

It's obviously on a smaller scale but it's like when Man City got the money. You can't just go out and buy superstars immediately. You need to get to a level to attract them and their first step was avoiding relegation.

Truly impaired.

Not surprising. He looks to be carrying a bit more timber not plying so regularly…
