Awful performance against possibly the worst opponent I've seen all season, they offered absolutely nothing, we could/should have scored 4 or 5 minimum, that was like watching a game during "that spell" earlier in the season.

Walton? WTF!!!! Comically bad attempt to collect that cost us a goal.

Can't think of a player in a blue shirt that came out of that game with much credit, Burns was absolute crap from start to being subbed, as was Harness.

That was our chance to cement top 2 and we f*ucked it.

Cement top two? If we'd won we would have been a point ahead of Plymouth rather than a point behind. Hardly cemented.

Genuine question, is your expectation that we win every match? I don't think this is the right sport for you tbh.

This is an absolutely ridiculous emotional reaction.

Cheltenham are not pretty but they are on excellent form and their home form is extremely strong.

It's gutting sure. We did more than enough to win. But that's football. You will have games you don't get what you deserve. Nothing more nothing less. Unbeaten run continues. We keep going. We haven't 'f*ked' anything.

And here they come ….

I’m sure they have been waiting for 9 matches with the message already typed out lol

So negative :)

To be fair, I did expect us to pick at least four points off Cheltenham this season. So two dropped.

How can it be an awful performance if we "could/should have scored 4 or 5"? I also strongly disagree that they were one of the worse opponents we've faced, they managed the game very well and compared to a lot of the more scrappy teams, actually posed an attacking threat.

One moment of madness cost us, but for that we would have won. This post is a huge overreaction as top two is still in our hands and we have actually gained on Plymouth. Chill Winston.

We'd have been top of the table, with a game in hand over our closest rival to the auto places, instead we are 2 points behind them in 3rd place, so yeah, at this stage of the season, margins are ultra tight and you just can't afford to be as bad as we were today, it was embarrassing.

Only 2 points behind Sheff Wed with a game in hand and now only 1 behind Plymouth. Frustrating to not win today but we're in a stronger position after this weekend.

The performance was fine on a matchbox of a pitch in a swirling wind. However, we had two guilt edge changes and one very good chance that we didn't convert. Harness, Burns in the first half then Chaplin in the second half.

The mental error was the only way they were going to score, that ultimately has to be the most frustrating as we were in COMPLETE control. Ugh

Huge shame as it would and should have have been a great 3 point swing on Plymouth who don't often lose at home. Still win our next 2 at home and it will just be part of the story of a great unbeaten run.

Let's hope there is no confidence lost at the back after that. I think we have grown since the autumn though.

"Awful performance". It lacked our recent fluidity and pace.
"Worst opponent you have seen all season"? Really? No exaggeration there! They were well organised, effective in time wasting that the ref did nothing about. They are 16th in the table 19 points clear of Fleetwood. Even Burton (level on points with them) looked far worse.
"they offered nothing" apart from a threat from set pieces, hitting the post as well as Alfie May always having the potential to score. They pressed and didn't simply sit back.
Walton had a dreadful rick for the goal and made another poor decision shortly after but he has been solid for 8-9 matches before that and set up a great goal for us recently.
Burns was far from crap. Harness didn't look great.

An unexpected point gained on Plymouth. 2 points dropped on Wednesday who we still have a game in hand on.

6 matches to go. It is still in our own hands. COYB!

They were a long way from being the worst we’ve played this year. Forest Green at Portman Rd looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Cambridge at Portman Rd didn’t have an attempt all game. I actually though Cheltenham played us pretty well and for a spell in the first half caused us a real wobble.

You are getting confused between what you are desperate to happen/expect to happen every week with what in reality happens in football seasons. We've just got 25 points out of the last 27 available and you are using words like 'embarrassing'.
