Unlimited cash, will only want a name and no one is going to give a champions league side to someone that hasnt even managed a tier 1 side.
Not saying McKenna can’t do that, far from it as I think he’s the next best thing out there but clubs that are champions league / top 6 sides are not going to give a still very inexperienced manager the gig unless they are someone already within the club or a club legend type scenario.
West Ham are the type of club who could take the gamble and could be the level of club that McKenna gives serious consideration to. Maybe Forest as well as they will be safe and well backed.

I’m sure it probably will...but it won’t be soon, as the OP stated. Howe is loved up there and has done exceptionally well so unless there’s a total implosion this season, he’ll get a few more years with a stronger squad at least. | | | |

As others have said, if Newcastle decide Howe isn’t good enough for them they’ll 100% be looking for a big name. Same would go for Man U, clearly
Danger with McKenna will come from a forward-thinking team in the tier below. Fortunately with us going as we are we probably won’t have to worry about him going right now
