Geez, that's bad luck. Hopefully he'll be back out there before too long, he's proving to be a good, proper PL level player; a low profile but highly effective defender.

Not to make light of it, but I like the thought that some of our PL players are doing the washing up by hand, the old-fashioned way, rather than just ramming everything in a dishwasher!

Literally last night I was washing up a casserole dish when I was looked at it thinking there was a crack. Picked it up to have a closer look and it snapped in two slicing into my nail and around my thumb and cutting my middle finger. Any worse and it would have been a minor injuries job; blood over our kitchen cabinets haha!

When you do an injury like this, basically they wrap your hand in so much bandage/dressing to stop your thumb moving till it heals and isnt constantly tearing, it's like a plaster cast boxing glove.
