Tottenham Away 11:40 - Nov 7 with 7842 viewswithyblue

Doesn't feel like there's a huge amount of excitement on here for Sunday's game. Maybe because of the disappointment of Saturday and that it's our third London away day in a row.

I, for one, am very excited. I'm looking forward to visiting the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time. It looks like a great place to watch football and I expect 3k of us will be in great voice. And I think we'll give Tottenham a really good game. They've got a few injuries and playing them after Thursday night trip to Turkey couldn't be better timing.

So, how's everyone feeling our first away game at the new Spurs ground? And how much of a chance do you lot reckon we have of getting a result there?

Good to be playing them after a European tie but they are very good going forward so fear a heavy defeat

2-1 away win. Delap and O'Shea the scorers.

I feel a lot more confident playing Tottenham off the back of wins against Villa and City than I would if they had just lost to Southampton and Leicester. Would be so Tottenham to lose to us on Sunday after 2 good results.

Obviously spurs when they're on it are a good team but they are also very susceptible to losing games they should win.

They always give the opposition an opportunity no matter who they are with the ridiculously high line.

Of course, I don't expect a win and nor should we. But it is an opportunity

I've heard phrases along the lines of "it would be very Spursy to contrive to lose to us" a lot this week.

Fingers crossed!

I’m genuinely excited for every game and playing the ‘bigger’ clubs only adds to that for me.

Other than in a couple of games, I feel like we have gone toe to toe with most clubs in this league so I always have the belief we can get a result. I’m not hankering to be back in the championship, this is where we need to be and testing ourselves against the best.

McKennas getting more and more time with the whole squad, I’m hoping we can escape with a draw, maybe 2-2 but even if we lose, I am sure we will have given them a game.

They've got a particularly nasty away trip to Galatasary tonight, a few hammys would be nice

It's a massive game and can't wait. Suspect we are going to get blown away but very cool for us to be turning up at that stadium. Very excited.

I don't see anything other than a loss, and probably a heavy one.

BUT, I do look forward to seeing this side continue it's collective journey on breaking in the new players with the old and forming a prem version of KM's Ipswich for our survival run in post Christmas.

I’m looking forward to it, as I do every game, third new ground in a row and probably the one I’ve been looking forward to most, also the last new one of the season.

I’m quite confident we can give them a game and hopefully the Spursy Spurs turn up, but as ever, as long as there’s no silly mistakes and they put 100% effort in I’ll be happy, want them to have to work for a win if they get one.

If I was actually going to the game I'd be excited. Apparently a great stadium etc.

However I'm not and it's likely to be a defeat, based on them not being fully at it against Aston villa and still got 4 goals and it's not even on TV (I know there are other ways....).

Having said that, they're away in Turkey tonight and have a few defensive issues and they do have the odd wobble against "lesser" opposition.

One of those games where it’s either a 5-0 Tottenham win or we sneak a win in somehow.

If we don’t make silly errors and lose then it shouldn’t be that bad.

I'd absolutely love a 90th minute winner 0-1 ipswich, Burgess header from a corner

There’s always one team in a season that gets spanked 7,8-0 and after watching them the other week, I’m slightly scared it might be us on Sunday.

Hope I’m wrong, and hope the lads give their all and make a good account for us. Need us all behind them in the away end, this game isn’t going to define our season.

Very much looking forward to it.

New ground, got great seats. into London after for tea and a look at the Christmas lights.

Atmosphere at away games has been cracking this season and can't see Sunday being any different.

We're enjoying the premiership journey this season. Having some amazing days out

Stadium opens 2 hours before the game with stadium-brewed beer at local (er, London!) pub prices...

One of my Spurs mates said "Don't worry, Doctor Tottenham will turn up for this one".

If we can get our wide players into the game, both Spurs FBs can be vulnerable. And their keeper is very iffy at corners... but they have pace to spare, whoever plays upfront...

Spurs have got Ipswich at home this weekend, so they will probably be highly complacent by the time they have to play us. Oh. We ARE Ipswich? Hmm. Yeah in that case we're screwed.

In all seriousness, Spurs are third in the home league table, and we're 3rd bottom in the away table. They've won 4 of 5 home games, and we've got 2 points from 5 away games.

You do sometimes get random results in any league. But on all the evidence it does not look positive. Unless Ashton's plan was to get the brown envelope out at his Howard Webb meeting this week...
