He gets in the way of people more than contributes, criminal that we went into this season with him as our third striker, a huge failing by the club.
Time to loan him out in January for the season and get someone who can cause trouble. Nothing against the guy but he's nowhere near good enough for this level.
Twice this season he's got in a way and blocked a shot from a teammate, it's not his fault, we just are pushing him too hard and before he's ready for it. [Post edited 27 Dec 2024 22:13]

It's almost like he was going to get loaned out but we didn't get a signing over the line so he is all we have left until we do sign someone in January. But the OP probably didn't see that.

In an ideal world he'd be learning his trade on loan at Derby. It's not Ali's fault that Ashton failed to land a striker and Hirst is out injured.

Ah right, that makes sense then as the current post is pretty much spot on. He’s a L2 player we were hoping could develop into a Championship player in time.
But he’s ours, so we have to support him. He’s trying his best and seems like a nice lad and good team mate. And he’s getting a bit of a chance, so if he can take it then great.
I’m more gutted that bloody Havertz scored against us. I’m struggling to think of a more overrated player. Greaves will be really pissed off about switching off there. |  |
