Elon Musk wanted to revive Vine a while back, which was the prototype for shortform video social media. Don't be shocked if this ends up being a case where Trump paves the way for Musk to buy TikTok, use the source code of the discoverability algorithm (the true value of TikTok) and then put it under the hood of a 'new and improved' Vine. In essence, potentially handing Musk a global social media platform.
If this, or something similar, happens then it would be a backhander that should make anyone disgusted, no matter their political leanings. The mere thought that it could be plausible is enough of a sign of how busted things are. [Post edited 21 Jan 9:44]

Even if it Twitter was a roaring success, you give someone with power much more power and boom - Musk is an even bigger influencer of global politics than he is now. The thing is, it didn't need to happen. Merrick Garland (Biden's AG) and Mitch McConnell from a process perspective, could have ended this all back in 2022 but Garland declined and delayed charges which would have prevented Trump standing again.
As Jack Smith said last week, Trump would have been found guilty over Jan 6th.
