Toto Nsiala - our MAN OF THE MATCH today 17:01 - Jan 16 with 2170 viewsMach_foreignBlue

Good and commanding performance. He was pretty much everywhere when dealing with the Burton players' crosses and also a few good blocks. No coincidence that we perform better in the defence when he is in the team.

Yes almost an own goal in 79 min which would have been a thing for some to scapegoat him like they have been doing so for a while but there had been worse things lately. Watching the shower of defence and their performance against Swindon last week for example. Had he played last week we would have avoided that embarrassment.

Yet another clean sheet and that's a good number of clean sheets this season when he is in the team.

Well done Toto !

Whilst he probably was, when you are playing the worst team in the league the fact our 'head it and kick it' Cb is MOTM is hardly much to celebrate

That two defenders were our best players against a woeful Burton side is pretty embarrassing stuff.

Certainly a much better defensive performance than woolfenden has put in recently.

But the pitch didn't help with you wonderful short passing game. So many coming back from injury....Burton on a run...new manager bounce....our lads getting over Rona etc etc.

Turgid performance wasn't it. As I said 3pts....Bish and Downes did OK. That's about the sum of today.

We had played the team who was second from bottom last week and that shower of defence couldn't cope with Swindon.

Agree we should. Despite the win it was a poor performance.

Toto's performance though is the main reason why we didn't concede a goal today.

Each time you use the word "freak" to describe those that you disagree with, I pity you. I pity that you feel the need to expend the effort typing something the majority are just going to brush off as a desperate, childish and poor attempt to wind people up.

Him and Chambers were, LC's block especially.

Whilst IU'm pleased for Toto, it doesn't strike me as a good thing that a player of that type is MOTM - you want an attacking player to be so in a game like that

...even when Nsiala plays well he always looks like making a game changing mistake.

Proven today.

Lambert out.

Makes me laugh when you talk of scapegoating. You've been scapegoating Chambers and Skuse for years.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Yep agree with that. Chambers has had one of the better games today as he had been poor prior to this.

Yep you want an attacking player to be so in a game like that but we have a fraud as our manager so what can you do?

It was the looking at the turf I liked the best. Eagerly watching the replay I was expecting a Muralitheran-esq off spin to pitch high off a divot but alas, he was just very flat footed and nearly threw it away.

I’m no Toto fan, never will be but he did well today. Needs more weight on his passes and a little too last ditch to block crosses at times but he’s probably earnt a start next game.

He was. Chambers was a lot better today as well. Probably due to concentrating on his own game and not having to keep an eye on Wolfenden whilst getting pulled out of position.

Judge created most of what we did well in attack.

Why 'should' we be rolling teams like that over? Presumably just as teams like Charlton, Peterborough and Sunderland have all done this season?
