No great surprise. Not many of last seasons squad will want to hang about, and frankly I don't care. There's a small handful (Dobra, Downes, KVY, Woolfy, Dozzell) that I would want to keep, if they can demonstrate they're up for the fight, but the rest can go. Even then I wouldn't lose too much sleep if we got good money for Dozzell. Flynn Downes I do really rate though, and can't help but think how good he might be in our new look squad.
Other than those few though we need to cleanse the squad as much as possible and rid it of the malaise that's firmly set in over years. A true fresh start, on and off the pitch.

Completely agree about the players you list as being the ones to keep and like you wouldn't be bothered about letting AD go...
We've given Dozzell a decent try and i really think if it wasn't for the connection with his Dad many wouldn't be so desperate to make it work.
It's a shame, but i'd much rather try polishing a new diamond such as Harper and seeing what we end up with. I've seen him a couple of times and think there is plenty there to work with. If he finds his feet he could do some serious damage at L1 level. I think it's exciting and this is the way to move forward. |  |
