Saw a report on the news the other night where a paramedic spent an hour on hold with the patient's GP surgery trying to sort out a prescription for an infection. That's one hour out of action for something that should in theory be easy to find a resolution for whether it be a special phone line to the GP surgery or centralising such requests. |  | | |

Less than a quarter of the wait time for an ambulance for somebody with diagnosed sepsis.
I don't know how to process this. Angry and want to cry with the helplessness of it all.
We fcking told so many people that this would happen.
Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics etc etc made videos explaining it. "24 hours to Save the NHS!" campaign just before the last General Election. I know so many "nice" and "respectable" people who voted Tory.
As you say "Fck them".
They voted that way so they could keep themselves where they are and others beneath them. And people are dying because of their pathetic selfishness, and others are waiting for help, and feeling alone and scared.
Cruel. Nasty.
This Tory Government think that they can get away with anything, because so many people have swallowed the lie of selfishness, and there are never any consequences for their actions. Because who cares about your actions, when you can give them distractions?
Point at desperate people in dinghies!
Judge people who are different!
Blame them for everything!
And, just to make sure:
Offer a tax cut to the Middle Classes!
And, behind the scenes, rake as much money from Public Funds towards the Agencies and Service Supply Companies run by your mates.
So that there's none left for a proper pay rise for Nurses, and Cleaners, and Paramedics, and Doctors, and Physiotherapists.
