Chris Sutton - always a Budgie 12:44 - Jan 6 with 6254 viewsBlueNomad

Taken from his FA Cup predictions on BBC website:

"Ipswich are going for promotion back to the Championship but, sadly for them, that is only going to end up with them losing in the play-offs in the spring. Before then, they are going out of the FA Cup to Rotherham on Saturday."

To be fair to him, if I was doing the FA Cup Predictions I would be giving it the same sort of approach for the Nodgers, and I dont consider myself to be a Massive, massive cûnt.

But maybe I am.

Perhaps it's time for a TWTD poll.

That's the one! Only looked good playing alongside Shearer. He shows a complete lack of professionalism when it comes to discussing us. Envy is a terrible thing.

He is possibly the biggest vagina in the world of sports punditry - and bearing in mind the competition, that's quite an achievement.

He surpasses the end of a bell status more so than most budgies - which is saying something.

I get the inferiority. Milk cup, UEFA Cup participants blah blah blah. But this stuff just makes them look like they have less brain cells than they have trophies.

Also from the same FA Cup predictions bit, he says this...

I suspect he said this to wind up his mate, Ali Bruce-Ball who is a Town fan…

He is the Katie Hopkins of football punditry, his job is to rile and inflame, and he knows that Town fans are easily triggered because of his origins. Best not to give them oxygen of discussing him IMHO.

He's just a massive div.

He's made 606 unlistenable - when you are making Robbie Savage sound like the voice of sanity, shouldn't that be a warning bell that you're a massive div?

Does whatever he can to provoke a response and then gets all shouty when someone disagrees with him.

Yeah agree, he loves a good wind up..

He called Town fans deluded when we went down, getting rid of MM because we wanted better football, someone needs to get on 606 and tell him that these days we have 10,000 more fans at least in the ground, because we indeed did get what we wished for...better football!

But he would say - not unreasonably - you've had to wait four years for better football and you're still in the third division.

I like the fact that he calls bullsheet out when players and managers are spouting it. He doesn't try to cosy up to people in the game. It's refreshing, though I'm glad I don't have to work with him.

Loyalties aside, his banter is terrible. It is some skill to make Robbie Savage look like a master of witticisms.

It pains me a little to say it, but I also think he's alright at the media role he plays, notwithstanding the Ipswich baiting but that's par for the course.

And yes, we can laugh at the careful what you wish for if we get promoted and continue to play good footy. Fair play to fans who prefer it now but they must be in a small minority. Nicer football from Town for sure but weighed against the generally worse opposition tactics and sh1thousing, and woefully worse reffing, this really isn't what the vast majority of fans wanted even though we were bored of MM's footy (and Evans of course).

Funnily enough my opinion of Sutton on 606 has actually improved based on how bad Savage is. He shouldn't be presenting really, he's a pundit.

But I get what you mean. The annoying thing about that programme now is they don't really bother discussing topics, instead they just have Savage vs Sutton 'banter'and try and get the caller to side with one of them.
