I remember that Craig Forest made a great save against Wolves in the FA Cup. It was many years ago so it might well not have been that good.
The best goalkeeping display that I’ve seen in the flesh was Richard Wright against West Brom. Think he saved a couple one-on-ones with Lee Hughes and also made a few good save.

Vas double save at home to Boro will always stay with me.
It always seemed strange how good he was at those last second reactionary saves but would then get caught out by longer range strikes which seemed easier to save.

His double save against Plymouth sticks with me. I don't think I've ever seen the entire North stand give a standing ovation to a goalkeeper before.

Another from Wrighty.
I was going to say this one. But my memory was better than reality. First part was a great save to get down low and to get back up and make himself big, quickly. But in my mind he saved the second more to the left. But in the video it hits him. Still great.

Didn't Richard make a very good save off Alan Shearer when the latter was playing for Blackburn? Or is my poor old memory playing tricks?
He did. At the final whistle Alan Shearer went up to him and told him that he’ll never have a game like that again. He did, but he should have had a lot more.

Always thought he should have played at a higher level - top keeper
he was a great keeper. after his move to sunderland (and the premier league) i put some money on him to go to world cup in 2006. alas for us both it didn't quite work out...
