Having given this great idea some thought, I'll roll with it from tomorrow. There will be four rounds of ALL fictional dogs listed here and then we shall let the people decide.
I can only hope that such obvious passion for this subject carries through to Saturday's final.

Dalmatians are proper bastards from my experience of them in real life. They will not get a place in the polls.
Dodie Smith was inspired to write 101 Dalmatians after calling at a cottage on a lane between Lavenham and Long Melford, where the old lady who lived there had a large number of Dalmatians.

Hmmm, yes I did deliberate on mentioning the Muskehounds, but since they didn’t have individual cute doggy based names, I personally dropped them.
But I concede, Footers should at least have the Muskehounds listed.
I know it is a bit silly like when “The Voice” a show about a voice, introduces duets and trios, but I think Footers probably has enough dogs without listing Porthos et al individually.
So to your suggestion I would bow.
