Change in recruitment policy for us.... on 08:48 - Apr 1 by Garv
I'm not sure he ever said that, but the rest I agree with.
Yeah, it was in response to the criticism from fans that we were ignoring our own youngsters to develop other team's, and that it flew in the face of our so called 5 point plan.
He claimed that the loan signings were more complete players right now and that was what was needed to help the promotion push.
I don't blame him entirely, he has been made the official spokesperson for the club and so has to come out and support things, but I just don't think he is very good at it!
I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Millions?
We'll just stick the work experience boy on a stats website and sign whoever he says at the end of the week.
LON will slither into his next interview bragging about the lightning fast assists and scoring legend we've signed before someone points out he's accidentally signed a basketball player.
Well, we've tried managers who were succesful 5+ years ago bringing in players who were last any good 5+ years ago. Now lets try a policy that every club with any sense has been doing for at least half a decade. We could even look into their medical histories if we're feeling ambitious.
I really do miss the days when Ipswich were the club to be the first to try new, innovative strategies rather than desperately trying to imitate others. By the time we've caught up, everyone else will have moved on to something else.

Well there is one tactic a few ckubs have used that I would like to see us try...it's called getting a new owner.

Complexed excel spreadsheet set up with the formulas:
Goals scored/games played Assists/games played
Then sort responses by 'contract expiring'.
Job done.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I would say it’s embarrassing but honestly, who really gives a 5hit anymore?
