Who's not leaving or who's left as the basis of that side? All round it's getting odder. At least this is all "free hit" stuff still innit.

Leaves Cook less room for error next August though!

I find it astonishing that McGuinness and to a lesser extent Woolfenden have kept their places in the team after the Northampton debacle.

I would have picked Nsiala and Chambers personally, but we shall see.

If he only put out a team of players who are staying, they'd basically be KVY, Downes and nine youth team players! Just have to put up with these players for these last four games and then hopefully get a real team in.

That’s Nsiala and Chambers who looked rock solid away to Wimbledon.

It should be Woolfenden and Chambers; I have no idea why we’re not going with that. And what’s the point of playing McGuinness and Bennetts when they’re surely not going to be here next season?

Yes, have to say playing McGuiness is a really strange one. I just don't see the point.

He's not our player
He won't be here next year
He's not very good

Wolfenden, PC probably wants to get a good look at and has said, show me why you should be here next year...and that would be fair enough.

Glad to see Hawkins tried at CF. We de facto end up with our strikers playing with their back to goal, so why not go with the specialist in that? Not like our other forwards carry any more goal threat than Hawkins does...

I like the fact that Cornell and Hawkins are in but no Toto or Chambers and Bennett's when Dobra is our own and much better hard to understand.

Find it strange that PC is playing 2 loanees and that Dobra is not being given more game time.

Assume with Chambers that he is not going to be here next season as to the reason he is not playing!

Many keep saying about a coaching job but at this rate we will have more coaches than players. Never understood why a manager needs so many coaches or even an assistant!!

That worries me too. Think I’d have picked Nsiala.

Can't believe McGuiness is getting another start. Especially with a different keeper coming in.

Glad to see Hawkins getting a start though.

But how’s he going to get his measure when he’s pairing him with a 19 year old? Surely he’ll be looking to bring in a senior centre back to partner Woolfenden next season, if he stays?

Another strange one. Bennetts and McGuinness. Bennetts is on massive wages and McGuinness is going to be back with Arsenal U21s in a month.

Wonder if McGuinness has some sort of appearance clause in his loan deal, makes no sense to keep playing him otherwise.

WTAF are McGuiness and Bennetts doing in the side? I know the season is a write off but I am finding some of decision-making from Cook very, very odd.

That or (and I don’t really believe this) Chambers is one of those who Cook was referring to who doesn’t care. Couple that with Nsiala not being match fit then we end up with what we’ve got. It goes against what the rumours were about Chambers being invited to be part of the coaching team, though.
