I maybe in a minority and everyone has a choice to make, so this isn't a plea to stop people going.
I'm probably not going to go....not had booster yet, booked for next week. So, although double jabbed, likely I'll miss.
Having weighed everything up - just too close to Xmas to take a risk of contracting Covid and scuppering Xmas plans.
I know a fair few people who, on the run up to Xmas, seem to be limiting social contact etc.

Not being overly aggressive but find it irritating to get so much advice from those that do not have tickets and have no intention of going.
We get flooded with advice from everywhere and I strongly believe that people can make their own calculated decisions.
I sometimes forget that this forum contains experts on every field who must not be questioned by morons and cretins. |

I will only not go if prevented from attending. Be that Govt
or other authority action or test positive.
Boostered a few weeks ago, wear a mask in most circumstances. In the last week I attended Charlton, where I felt conspicuous in the ground by wearing a mask and a work Xmas party and am testing at least every other day. Thought I had succumbed yesterday but 2 tests have come back negative.

People can indeed make their own decisions - I've decided not to go because so many people have decided to ignore both government advice regarding masks and the fact that the numbers are rising exponentially and say that they will 'not give covid a second thought' at the ground... Got two tickets then my dad got Covid so he won't be going. Neither will I as I was in a car with him with for an hour the other day and despite having no symptoms and negative lateral flow tests i'm really not convinced I don't have it.
I think it's better to miss the game than potentially ruin a lot of Christmases.

If everyone in the UK were as responsible & selfless as you in everyday situations like this all over the UK, the number of deaths and life-changing long covid incidences would be greatly reduced.

I originally couldn't go so hadn't got a ticket. I'm now not doing my original plan (due to covid concerns) but won't now try and go Saturday as a bit concerned with the timing just before Christmas. In short, I don't want a crap Christmas.

Many who aren't vaccinated are going to struggle to get in if the rules are followed given the NHS in England has now run out of LFT tests:
