But I personally (based on the whispers in previous weeks he’d mentioned) before Cooks sacking, do not believe for a second we’d have made a decision this quickly.
From what I was told, the process would be one that could go on for four or five matches. Or at least near to Christmas. To have in the space of a week appointed Harris, the first really strong link, I don’t think it would have happened like that.
In my opinion, Saturday will still be McGreal as Interim and this time next week the rumour mill has someone else in. The combination of the bookies having him fav (means nothing on these markets unless he’s 1/25 which he isn’t) and that he’s applied for the role, and suddenly the whole of TWTD seemingly believes someone instantaneously that Harris is a done deal. I don’t believe it.
I’ll go out on a whim and say in 7 days time we still won’t have appointed anyone and when we do, it won’t be Harris. |  |

My man has been spot on before. I believe I was the first to mention Norwood being our number 1 target and about 3 months before that season before had ended. Also told me a few other things but not stuff that I’d go spouting off on here and subsequently turned out to be true. Put it this way though, some of it really highlighted what a disgrace Evans was.
Also for what it’s worth, whilst on fees we didn’t spend too much, you’d be staggered at the average contract and wages half our new signings are on. Bloody bonkers money for League 1. And even more suprisingly, Huws was on more than any of them. And a previous player we’ve played against in the last three league matches that I won’t name, is on more than him. Also ex Town. |

I think its more likely that people know Harris has been interviewed, which is true, and they've put 2 and 2 together to assume the job is his.
It may or may not play out that he's the one offered the job, but often rumours are born out of a half truth. | |
