Well you do constantly contribute almost exclusively socialist political topics to what is a football forum, it’s going to upset a few given I’d say your views are almost polar opposite of what most of the fan base has, I am not saying that’s wrong or I disagree with what you and a lot of the others say, but if you talk to the average Town fan on their views on a lot of this stuff and it’s easy to see why Ipswich and surrounding areas backed Brexit, Tom Hunt and Will Quince, and so on. You are going to upset people with those views. The difficulty this forum has is what balance of these political posts vs football is actually turning people away, especially when they get nasty and personal. Town fans have noticed it and many stay away because of those posts. |
Bit harsh. Grizzers might not be everyone's cup of tea but he does contribute to and start lots of interesting debate. Normally in a very civil way.
The theme of this thread is interesting. Basically the world and very specifically the internet/social media are places for stubborn people to largely rant to no one specific about their Dunning Kruger views. Not sure if this is meta or ironic. |  |

A small point of order.
At the 2019 GE the number of registered voters in Ipswich was 75,525
Tom Hunt garnered 24,952 of those votes.
The Brexit Party candidate a further 1,432.
So that's 26,384 backing Brexit and/or Hunt.
Leaving 49,141 who didn't.
So if your assertion that the average Town fan backed Brexit/Hunt is correct then the average Town fan is not a registered voter in Ipswich. Of course your assertion could just be incorrect. |  |
