John Beck, Dion Dublin, Steve Claridge. Chucking buckets of cold water over their players just before kick off so they came out sharp and ready to go. Ah, TWTD

Should be an interesting train journey back after the game....the Cambridge train from Ipswich after the game was packed on Saturday, and that was without the travelling Cambridge fans.

Heard it’s changing from the wedding shop back to the pub, as a one off for the day [Post edited 28 Mar 2022 10:11]

Even with an additional Cambridge service on Saturday at 17:18 (non stop to Ely) the 17:20 will be heaving again.

A competent company would bring some of their old stock up from London for the day to preserver the new stock and enable some dedicated football trains...

Cambridge have sold 2,000 for Saturday on 11:54 - Mar 28 with 3752 views | Chrisd | It's great to see so many in attendance at PR. I always felt that the capacity was 5,000 too many, but it shows the interest is very much there. It's just quietly waiting to erupt. I really do believe something is beginning to stir with our club and about time too!

It's even more impressive when you think how relatively few away fans come to East Anglia. I saw a survey last week that said that in League 2, Bradford City was 'the best club to support'. One of the criteria was 'how easy is it to get to away games?', - which also translates to 'how easy is it for away fans to get to you?'. Not very, in Town's case.

So true. We are out on a limb. Lets not forget, we're winning a few games in L1 and playing some decent football currently. Surely, if you are KM, MA or our owners you must be thinking if we can get things going here look at the potential we have in going forwards?! It's so enjoyable seeing things beginning to blossom, rather than being on the end of it and clutching at straws or worse.......hope!

I guess this doesn't include restricted view or segregation. Out of interest, what code do you use to find this?

It will, which from memory is something like 2k restricted view tickets and about 1000 for segregation. So currently, about 22k, including away fans.
Cambridge have sold 2,000 for Saturday on 13:52 - Mar 28 with 3264 views | MaySixth | Cambridge support will be very similar to Oxford. Small club, big following. A lot of them will sit on their hands and release the odd balloon while a few young uns will sing. Prefer if teams who brought a large following actually sung throughout a la Pompey rather than daytrippers at a cup final

Cambridge have sold 2,000 for Saturday on 14:35 - Mar 28 with 3134 views | nodge_blue | I went to Lincoln v Cambridge and there were a few nasty Cambridge fans after the match giving it large. Really horrible few. Calling some old Lincoln boy a c!!! . And they'd just won! Maybe they've been out of it so long it's all a bit much for them. But I really don't like them now.

it is, but we are charging them £30 per ticket plus a booking fee, which has annoyed alot of Cambridge Utd fans I know, and for comparison Sunderland are charging them £26. Not sure how much Town fans paid to go to Cambridge, but its League 1 for flips sake, the 3rd tier of English football, Im not convinced its worth £30 of anyones money at this level.

It'll certainly be the highest pounds-per-inch-of-legroom anyone will be paying in England this weekend.

I reckon a few young ones will be looking to attack a few home fans.
