I actually like the more traditional style of kit. It’s much better than some of the shockers out there. When you see some of those 70s kits - absolute classics that look more imposing too. But then I’m a boring traditionalist.

The exception would be the natty 90s cream and black striped Punch away kit. It shouldn’t work, but it does.

I've always thought Umbro was the go to traditional kit manufacturers back in the day and love their basic kits.... though the 92 promotion get up was a Town classic imo

I like Adidas kits. I hope not.

We were excited about getting them back not so long ago.

Adidas back in the day were brilliant, especially with the Trefoil logo, but they look a little bland these days.

Personally I like the Hummel kits, but appreciate one man's champagne is another mans cat p1ss.

Really wouldn't want an in house manufacturer, they all look like they should be in the sports section in Asda George.

That's not what was said at all and they're better than some out there.

I would also like Hummel, but adidas is a million miles better than some of the manufacturers out there, and would be happy if we renewed with them.

Hopefully not the end of the great quality that the Adidas kits are though - because as a shirt collector some of the other makes are terrible for fit, material, wearability etc

Adidas are not renewing, not the other way around.

I used to love the old adidas kits, but the ones in recent years are just off the shelf shockers.

Hummel please!

I'm not sure that's the case, given that it's most likely that we pay Adidas to supply our kits rather than the other way around (as happens at the world class clubs).

I'd have thought, given the record year we've had for shirt sales, Adidas would be keen to keep us rather than telling us to sling our hook.

More than happy to be corrected, but I can't see that Adidas would refuse to do business with us, when we're paying them to supply the kits.

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Only so much a kit manufacturer can dull with a dull blue kit. Let’s change the kit to purple and make everything better.

Ah, the old school Dream Team approach, where they used footage from some of our Marcus Stewart era games and adjusted the colour to be more of a purple hue for match action scenes?

I reckon it will be Hummel and not just because Bristol City now use them.
Given Ashton's personality so far I don't think he'll be a template kit fan and I'm pretty certain I've read that Hummel give their clubs a lot of design input.

Castore might be an outside shout due to the incentivised growth model they operate with. The Newcastle kit might not be to people's tastes but I've got some of their early Sportswear and I would say it's of higher quality compared to the likes of Nike and Adidas.

I see the Hummel suggestions and raise you Lotto. They've got that Euro-lower league vibe I just love and a nice italian sportswear heritage to boot, which is 'cool'. They're certainly not trad tho so would probably split opinion.

Edit - looked them up and actually make very few kits these days. Kappa fill a similar role however and are all over the place these day. Bari special kit (anniversary? doesnt say) is truly stunning

Castore make the gear for the Mclaren F1 team and it's actually quite nice and also decent quality. Preference would certainly be Hummel or Umbro though, any manufacturer that provides the kit in a fashion fit so I can wear them at times other than matchdays.
