One we were linked with right at the start of the window. Seems a good player but not sure where he will fit in?

is he an attacking midfielder, as in the chaplin role, or holding? because he already have ball waiting a turn

A very good signing that.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

He is an attacker, not a morsy, evans or ball type. He's what we need

Is he? Thought he was a box to box CM?

Good player, but what does this mean for Humphries?? Hard to see him getting a game at this rate

Meant more of an attacking CM

I was under the impression he played a similar kind of role to Morsy this season but happy to be wrong. Will he be competing for one of the 10 roles then, or think we’d slightly change how we play when he’s on the pitch?

Been brilliant for Plymouth, surprised they've got £500k for him though as he's running down his contract. That said, we just did for TS I guess.

Ohh okay, not sure how we are going to keep all 4 midfielders happy but isn’t it lovely to finally have quality depth!

He's more of a number 8 or 10 than a 6, so he could play behind the central striker.

Has played as an 8 and a 10, about 60% of his football played at CM, other 40% wider or further forward:

A potential stand-in for Morsy or for Harness.

Isn't that up to Humphreys to be good enough to force his way in? He trains with the first team so he has the chance to do that.

Camara is basically a tall Morsy. Not as strong on the ball as our king is, but probably more of a threat in the final third. The ideal box-to-box midfielder for teams to have, incredible engine on him, and added height

We have four central midfielders (Morsy, Evans, Ball and Humphreys), four attacking midfielders (Chaplin, Harness, Aluko and Camara, if he signs), and four forwards (Ladapo, Jackson, TJJ and Ahadme, again if he signs).

The matchday 18 would include six or seven of the attacking midfielders/forwards and maybe three central midfielders.

We will need cover for injuries and suspensions, so can see Humphreys on the bench this season.

I'm just back from the gym and seen this and that was my immediate thought...

Seems an odd one in terms of position, but then we know McK talks about qualities and will use those and put them where he wants them lol!

This is the one I was told about, at 1:40pm.

Come from the player side where I was told, not Ipswich end.

Is it though? All I have read over the last 2 weeks aside from needing a striker is what if Morsy gets injured, is he not the what if?

He can play behind the striker, but also in the central midfield position as well. He is versatile, so great option to have.
