His views on immigration are also very sensible. I guess the borders have got to be tightened but all that stuff about going This is my country', I don't get that. We all live under one sky. I certainly don't sit there and go, 'This is my {**kin' England, stay out', but I think we should definitely keep an eye on who's coming in and out of the country. That just makes common sense because you don't want a load of loony c**ts coming in. But good people should be allowed to move and groove

It's very, very quiet.

Groom, that’s the one. Derby lad, I think. Good shout on the Ellis combo. Strong potential there.

Come on then. Who would your next PM be and why? on 21:28 - Oct 20 with 652 views | Swansea_Blue | Caroline Lucas as she’s a grown up and recognises the important priorities. But from the list of serving Tory MPs, it’s a tough call. I think they need a real heavyweight elder statesman/woman to take control, assert authority internally and bring them back in line. I can’t see one though. Ben Wallace gets lots of plaudits, seems reliable and mature (so a traditional Tory). They could do a lot worse, but he’s not interested and I’m not sure he has the strength of character needed (maybe nobody does). They could try and re-discover a heart. Tom Tugendhat threw his hat into the ring for the last leadership contest. I can’t see him as PM, but it would be an interesting change of direction. He’s thoroughly disillusioned with what they’ve become, so that’s a good start. Whoever it is, they have to cleanse the Tories of the post truth bullshi**ers who climbed the greasy pole by abandoning principles and self esteem and defending past indefensible activity. So that rules out pretty much anyone who defended all the scandals under Johnson, or Brexit, or Truss’ libertarian horror experiment. I can’t think of any people with the experience, maturity and gravitas who ticks those boxes. Edit - or go for maximum sh*ts and giggles, a massive Netflix serialisation deal and give it to Mad Nads.
