I had to change one because I got reported to work by someone on here about posting on here doing coke in bogs at a pre-season friendly against Colchester about 10 or so years ago. I was a proper wind-up merchant on here back then and made a few enemies. Had a few dodgy PMs back then along the lines of meet me at so and so and we'll sort in person and all that kind of sh*t
I did have a few 'comedy' accounts around that time but they wouldn't last too long because I'd get the banhammer within a week or so for being blatantly offensive/on the wind-up. |

I had a couple of different usernames around 20 years ago relating to where I live etc, but they were dull and others had similar names. I was (and still am) active on a gaming site where I used my current username, and decided to just use the same name on here for probably 7 or 8 years now, but its not footie related. Until we became associated with Phoenix Rising :). |
Only ever had the one name which I chose many years ago in the dark days of ME's reign in the hope that one day we would get an owner who loved & respected our club as much as we do and that the good times would finally come back to Portman Road.
When the Yanks bought our Club and their association with Phoenix Rising became known you could have knocked me down with a feather duster!!
Maybe somewhere in the Valhalla of footie there is a god finally looking kindly upon our beloved Club and perhaps even wearing a blue scarf! |  | | |

Another one which was only used 1-2 times and then seemed to be deleted was Shining Wizard. It was in my younger days and I was getting loads of stick so I wanted a username without the baggage just to talk football. |  |

3 - This one, EEJB as a kid, and something like UndeadPigeon as a very obvious and short-lived joke (2 or 3 posts maybe, 1 of which inferring it was me). No deliberately deceptive trolling, no getting banned and creating a new username to promote Russian propaganda, etc.
But I do like some comedy creations. So long as they are for fun, rather than to wind people up, and don't outstay their welcome. |  |

I was bensonandhedges back in 1997 as I smoked and I just chose my username based on what was near me. Then I quit in 2000 and so changed my name to where I was living. Now I am in Canada I've thought about changing it but home will always be SE1. |  |

It seems that a number of absentees aren't absent after all.
