I believe they have already tweaked the song because of the word ‘faggot’. Doesn’t bother me but people a more sensitive these days…

I was out on day one, never stood a chance with my wife, despite my protestations, Heart Xmas gets put on on the 1st of December.
Awful feeling really, a bit like when you have that first pint and it randomly goes straight to your head and makes you feel light headed, you know you're in for a torrid time.

Just the 5,918 hearings of it down here in Swansea. Although to be fair, we've probably only just found about the original release. I'm not saying that we're behind the times, but people still have mullets down here.

I was unaware of this until today. I can't recall being out so far but, since I haven't been actively alert to it, I wonder if I may be out without realising it. I am going to claim to be still in.
Discovered this thread yesterday and just turned onto BBC where a film called Last Christmas is starting, with the theme tune by you know who.
I did note a story a little while ago about a couple who are supposedly trying to raise the money to purchase the rights to the song with a view to stop it ever being played again ever.

I thought I was done for when I walked into Morrisons at Boss Hall yesterday morning and the Christmas songs were playing over the PA but big respect to them for switching it off, that may have been because they had a wee (but excellent) brass band playing just inside the entrance but I like to think that Morrisons could see a Whamageddon survivor arriving and were sensitive to my dilemma...
Only planning on visiting off licences today, I should be OK, shouldn't I ?
Still in. The joy of only listening to podcasts in the car, refusing to let people play Christmas music at work and not spending too much time in supermarkets.
