Disagree. He’s exactly the sort of person we need in the managers job. He is bright, clear sighted, dedicated, good coach and strong with the media. Everybody gets stuff wrong from time to time, especially when you start a role.
He is a different choice to tried and trusted, but how often has tried and trusted benefitted us in the last 20 years? Royle and McCarthy and that’s your lot - and both of those had their poor spells.
I’m as unhappy as the next person with how we’ve fallen away, but the players have to take some responsibility too. McKenna isn’t the one who couldn’t hit a cows rear end with a banjo and neither was he the person weedily bullied at the back post for one of Portsmouth’s goals.
