He made a couple of high profile errors, but like Vaz it is the way he plays.
His shot stopping ratio in his prem games was excellent.
If you want to see a good example of what he can do, this twitter thread is excellent and has 1 min highlights of every prem game he played in.

He seems to have had the highest save percentage of any goalkeeper in the Premier League least season who played more than 14 minutes. That's a pretty remarkable achievement in itself.
He does seem to be good with his feet from what I've seen. A highlight reel is a misleading thing a lot of the time, but one tackle in particular last season was an absolute belter. If he can play the ball when someone else has it in his area, I'd be pretty confident when he's in actual possession! | | | |

Close friend and colleague works with/at Burnley in various capacities and has been a season ticket holder for 17 years.
I appreciate that doesn’t make him their chief scout but his feedback is:
- ‘you’ve pulled our pants down on that fee’
- ‘Trafford was a vanity project for Kompany and Muric should have replaced him by the end of Sept
- ‘Truely think he is a Top 6 keeper and has been gravely underestimated here’
- ‘I maybe over emotional atm but honestly rekon he was in the top 3 players in our squad with the ball at his feet and distribution
The guys someone that I have really good football conversations with and is fairly level headed and (imho) knowledgable about football generally. I can only hope he’s right |  | | |
