Can I ask why you don't apply this strong moral narrative to Trump?
Wallace has clearly done wrong and deserves what he gets but Trump is literally convicted of sexual offences in court and has many other incidents which are well documented yet you make no mention of it in your posts and defend him and his policies frequently.

Like when you posted a JC tweet in a thread I started the other week which had nothing to do with the discussion? Or how about the thread where you called me out for citing a user posts which were clearly relevant to the discussion as other users pointed out?
The double-standards you apply to yourself and others are quite something. As I said in my previous reply, I've tried to stay out of your way along with a few other posters but you seem intent on poking and prodding.
It's perfectly fair to ask posters about their inconsistencies. The thread hasn't been derailed. You just want to have a pop like always whilst trying to pretend you occupy some higher ground.

As for my JC tweet? The thread was about homeopathy. Somebody suggested that liberals/ lefties weren’t in favour of alternative medicine. I linked a tweet to show that the man who came close to being a PM was. Completely relevant to the thread.

the actual incidents which have been quoted online are at the low end of inappropriate behaviour. other than involving someone famous it doesn't (in terms of what has been detailed to date) merit being headline news. there is no sense of proportionality in the reporting. the lawyers' investigation will be interesting in whether it even meets the threshold for harassment. |
