What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 22:16 - Jan 21 with 3470 views | AVJones | Who knows? We’ll probably buy more new players in the next week as well. I can’t keep up! I find supporting an ever-changing team quite difficult. I like to get behind a group of players such as we did in the previous two seasons. Too much change for me.

I wouldn't mind if the new signings felt like sufficient upgrades. Before the end of the season, I can see us naming a line up where Davis is the only survivor last year (Morsy will probably be suspended for at least one more game between now and then). I know I'm being pathetic but it doesn't feel like the same team now - not the one who fought and won two promotions back to back. Just a bunch of strangers thrown together and told to play. For that reason... Walton O'Shea - Woolfenden - Greaves Godfrey - Morsy - Cajuste - Davis Enciso (if he signs) - Broadhead Delap But my heart is no doubt ruling my head on some.

What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 22:50 - Jan 21 with 3235 views | Garv | Hard to include a player we haven't even signed yet or seen play, but I guess he's going to play a good part. Walton Axel O'Shea Burgess Davis Morsy Cajuste Hutchinson Chaplin Philogene Delap Harsh on Broadhead, but we have to assume JP will offer more pace, physicality and perhaps more of a direct goal threat. I don't see in any way that Burgess isn't a better option than Greaves and playing better than him currently, both in terms of actual defending but also playing out and releasing Davis as we try to do so often. Pending what Enciso might do, Chaplin is arguably our best no.10 as he's the best mix of quality on the ball, goal threat, unpredictability and football intelligence. Hutchinson is part of that argument but he's also very relevant for the right wing role too. Ultimately I think we'll see lots of chopping and changing across the remainder of the season and numerous players playing different roles and positions.

"Ultimately I think we'll see lots of chopping and changing across the remainder of the season and numerous players playing different roles and positions." Which I don't think is going to help. What was great about the last couple of seasons was the consistency - particularly at the back. And, even when players moved in and out of the line up, they knew their roles.

Morsys legs are gone I'm afraid. I think you've got to give KP a run in the side now.

Someone better tell McKenna then because whenever he’s had the chance to start Morsy, he has (bar one game).

I think there's a good argument that this is currently our strongest team: WALTON TUANZEBE O'Shea BURGESS BURNS MORSY Cajuste DAVIS HUTCHINSON BROADHEAD Delap Only 3 newbies

I'm not sure I would say they're gone, but at 33 years old - he's definitely looking at going that way. MC is one of the most pivotal positions in top flight football and I can see Morsy being replaced as a starter and captain next season, if we stay up. That said, to claim he's not one of the best players we have for that spot right now is very bizarre indeed. [Post edited 22 Jan 8:55]

What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 09:42 - Jan 22 with 2063 views | ipswichtillidie | This won’t be far off our most talented team. Godfrey could get in there once his up to speed I think he’ll be a great asset. Out options off the bench with everyone fit will be the best part regardless of the first 11. We will finally have like for like quality to change a game in the last 20 mins, something we haven’t really had all season. (Objectively against the weaker teams)

What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 09:55 - Jan 22 with 2020 views | SaffronWaldenBlues | A lot of the League One players are being harshly written off, some of them have performed better than the new signings and have been far more consistent. Davis is the first name on the team sheet. Burgess and Wolfenden should be starting together and have been great, Burns is starting to come back into his own a bit and was a key part of the reason we beat Chelsea, Chaplin has played well too, and actually makes the team work better when he's on the pitch. Hirst again when fit is a huge asset. I will say Morsy has done okay but is probably a touch too slow, Walton has had some good games. Broadhead has been a revelation since coming back and looks like he could be a player at this level.

What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 14:50 - Jan 22 with 1652 views | Herbivore | Probably varies depending on the opponent. If we're expecting to be a bit more on the front foot I'd go: Walton Tuanzebe O'Shea Greaves Davis Morsy Cajuste Hutchinson Chappers Jaden Delap For games where we might be more on the back foot and needing to counter I'd go: Walton O'Shea Woolf Burgess Burns Morsy Cajuste Davis Hutchinson Jaden Delap Close between O'Shea and Tuanzebe for the RCB role and wouldn't argue too much either way but I think O'Shea has had some of his best games in that role. I didn't think he looked anywhere near as comfortable playing in the middle of the three and think Woolf is the best fit for that position. Both line ups switch shape and one easily becomes the other in defence or attack but the small changes when we're more in the low block versus being closer to how we played last season are what make me go with slightly different personnel. I'm also placing faith in Jaden being as good as we hope, otherwise Broadhead comes in for him.

What do people see as our strongest eleven now? on 15:10 - Jan 22 with 1459 views | _clive_baker_ | I make your XI pretty close to our strongest. Could well see Godfrey ousting Axel, but on the evidence we have Axel has barely put a foot wrong for us and we looked more robust with him than at times without. Rest of the side probably about right for me. I get the argument about Phillips vs. Morsy but I'm kind of the stage where you just play Phillips & Cajuste and hope they can kick on a bit. We know what we'll get from Morsy, but we also know we might need a little more than that at this level, and Phillips at least represents hope that it could be there to be rediscovered over the next few months.
