We all PSG tonight? on 17:49 - Apr 29 with 2360 views | _clive_baker_ | Fortnight ago I would've said I want Arsenal to win it, English club and all that. Saka, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Sterling. Good for English players to taste European success. But nah, feck 'em now. Horrible fan base. Hope Doue absolutely tears them apart.

In a game between one soulless 'global club' and another, I think I'll back the one that didn't celebrate our relegation.

i'm sure arsenal are shady in their own way, but they're not owned by a repressive petrochemical state!

We all PSG tonight? on 20:44 - Apr 29 with 1867 views | Vaughan8 | I don't know what's happened to me. I used to support (most) of the thenglish teams in Europe. This week I want them all to lose Arsenal - I dislike Arteta and their fans are unbearable Spurs - i don't mind but I don't want Ange to be all boasty saying he wins things in his second season Man utd - no explaining necessary. Chelsea - meh who care about that cup. Edit: I used to dislike PSG with Mbappe and Neymar etc but I don't anymore. [Post edited 29 Apr 20:46]

I didn't say they were. I made no comment on the shadiness or otherwise of either club. I'm simply saying that it's a game between two soulless Super League clubs-in-waiting, both of whom came unmoored from whatever genuine support they originally had many years ago, and I couldn't give a toss about either of them. So given that, if push comes to shove, I'll cheer on the one that didn't rub salt in our wounds. Hope that's acceptable to you.

Why? Arsenal fans delighted and chanted in celebration of our relegation inside Portman Road and on the trains/buses back to London. Pray they get properly stuffed over two legs. North London bottle jobs forever.

If I was Paul Merson, I'd probably suggest that Arsenal should have tried to mix up the way they play a bit and not concede a goal so early. They've simply not been good enough and should just aim for semi-finals in future and enjoy the cash that it brings.

We all PSG tonight? on 22:14 - Apr 29 with 1477 views | Bluedandy | Rooney gets something right this season. Post-match he correctly criticised the Arsenal crowd for the lack of atmosphere, did nothing for the team unlike PSG fans who were differently class. Arsenal's army of Nigels arrogantly assumed the job was done. Spot on Wayne.

Fair enough mate, apologies for the slightly narky reply. I think the Arsenal fans' reaction to our impending relegation has been the second most annoying thing for me this season, after the Cunha incident. Imagine if Cunha signs for Arsenal!

And the Leicester defender who flattened Chaplin... In fact, probably best to stop thinking about this season for the sake of my blood pressure.

They’ve been pretty dreadful for years. I went to the League Cup semi final at Emirates and the first time I heard a squeak from them was when they scored. Nice ground if you like modern bowls, dead atmosphere. At Portman Road all I heard from their supporters was a few renditions of that yawn fest chant ‘you’re only here for the Arsenal’. Zzz. That was about it.

We all PSG tonight? on 09:00 - Apr 30 with 792 views | GeoffSentence | I don't get the hate for the Arsenal fans at Portman Road. It was mostly good natured exchanges. Sure they crowed a bit about our relegation, but so what, everyone knew it was coming and we gave it back with chants about their failure to win anything. They were neither the best nor the worst fans we've had down here. They wouldn't win any prizes for being top fans, but neither was there much to complain about.

I’m not versed in PSG’s fan history, but their fans last night were immense and seemed pretty genuine. Non-stop backing from them, which was made all the more obvious by being sandwiched in between two blocks of static and largely silent Arsenal fans. The game was men v boys and I thought it was pretty dull in the main. One for the purists who appreciate positional defending.
