Swansea, didn't see that one coming! 15:18 - Jun 14 with 7586 views | tonybied | I thought Burgess would end up at a better club tbh!
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:19 - Jun 14 with 4297 views | Jon_456 | Surely he had better opportunities than that?!
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:20 - Jun 14 with 4292 views | J2BLUE | Very disappointing. I wonder if we were unwilling to match a three year deal.

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:23 - Jun 14 with 4163 views | jasondozzell | Really sad. What a player he's been for us. Suspect we didn't offer a long enough deal. Good luck Cam.
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:23 - Jun 14 with 4150 views | BLUEBEAT | probably the 3 year contract that swung it

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:27 - Jun 14 with 4050 views | nodge_blue | Its a bit funny given the narrative on here recently how hes been so under rated and now often to a top European club.

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:30 - Jun 14 with 4006 views | blueoutlook | Strange move. I’d sooner him at the back for us than Greaves. We obviously didn’t offer him the contract he wanted. Shame. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:36 - Jun 14 with 3880 views | Zx1988 | Perhaps a lot of talk of other destinations was noise from his agent, trying to encourage Town to put a better deal on the table?

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 15:53 - Jun 14 with 3651 views | ArmaghBlue | Nice backwards move and a weak defender to attack against when we play Swansea
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 16:00 - Jun 14 with 3570 views | Kieran_Knows | His agent has played a blinder using Girona and Valencia’s name. Fair play.

The Modric effect? on 16:00 - Jun 14 with 3572 views | unstableblue | Became a co-owner and investor in April. Being second fiddle to Greaves, and 3 year contract probably the main factor.

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 16:04 - Jun 14 with 3505 views | Nutkins_Return | All the best to Cam. Never let us down and some brilliant memories like at Cov. Bit disappointed at that move for him. Feels weirdly les alike we are losing out given he's going there. We move on. Hopefully we can keep O'shea and Greaves together and build on that. Be good to keep Woolf as well. Don't want a re-build in defence. Be interesting to see if we give Baggott a pathway now with this and he becomes cover.

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 16:13 - Jun 14 with 3387 views | DJR | A real shame. To my mind at least as good as Greaves, if not better. We will certainly have to go some to get someone as good as him as a replacement. [Post edited 14 Jun 16:14]

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 16:22 - Jun 14 with 3231 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Shame to see him go. I have full confidence in Greaves who was really strong for Hull last time out in the champ and hasn't hit this ceiling yet being 5 years younger than Burg. From the clubs perspective I can see why they would want to make him the main man and not offer CB a 3 year deal where he isn't guaranteed game time. A super player for us though with a great Ipswich story. Wish him well.

Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 16:50 - Jun 14 with 3043 views | ITFCSG | All also very quiet on the Tuanzebe front. MA apparently isn't the masterclass negotiator he thinks he is. If we lose both Cam and Tuanzebe I am not confident (using the previous few transfer windows as a precedent) we will get fit-for-purpose replacements. The legendary League One transfer window aside, all others have been underwhelming - some even pathetic. Ben Godfrey ffs.

100% this And only one of them has the potential to be sold for £30m+ in a few years which after all is the model we are following. Cameron had a great story with us though, right up there with the Donaissance.
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 17:03 - Jun 14 with 2894 views | franz_tyson | Sad that. My favourite defender who was humiliated by Barrow and bottomed out... yet kept on going and become arguably our most improved player. I think Kieran f#cked up with Cam. Favoured Greaves because of the ceiling thing as opposed to who was the better defender. Didn't deserve to be dropped. Wish him well.
Swansea, didn't see that one coming! on 17:09 - Jun 14 with 2843 views | Churchman | Good luck to him. He’s been a good player for us. I’ve always rated him. Not the best centre half I’ve ever seen, but big and brave and never let us down. As good a player as Greaves? Well he was more solid in his way last season and had a couple of years in a winning team before that. Greaves was in and out, injured at the start in a rag bag of a team so it’s hard to compare. Greaves has age and potential on his side so I can see why he’s preferred. I’m a bit surprised he’s gone to Swansea but maybe they’re the only ones offering guaranteed first team football and a long contract. I am a little saddened to see a face from that smashing team of two seasons ago leave, but I wish him well.
