Not as tinpot as that 'response'. Some of our fans are incredibly arrogant though. To be fair it happens to every club who have a bit of success but it's not a great look.
I wouldn’t worry about it, it’s a pretty amateur forum by the looks of it. Could you imagine Phil running an article like that slagging off fans of another club? It’d never happen.
Besides, it’s not having a tantrum if people are surprised that Cam would end up at Swansea after being linked with Rangers and Valencia. Swansea are a decent club, with a decent core group of support who travel well and are noisy. But they’re obviously not Rangers or Valencia level. They’ve had a bad time of it lately, with a lot of failed signings (and some windows of no signings), lack of investment, etc.
They’ve new owners now, and a new manager who seems to have halted their slump, so hopefully things will improve for them and Cam will have a good time there.But I wouldn’t pay much attention to that site. It won’t be representative of all their fans, who generally seem a more gracious bunch.

Yep, this was exactly my point in the post that got picked up by them! It wasn't so much trying to say Swansea are sh*t, more that I expected him to be off to a club slightly higher/more exotic, after the links in the lead up to his exit.
I hold no grudge to Swansea and Cam, if they have sold him the vision that they are able to compete, and also offer him plenty of playing time too, then good luck to them both (but not at our expense, obviously!).

Almost an exact parallel with sister-botherers isn't it, at first glace, albeit the sister-botherers have more relegations (and, to be fair, more promotions) to get to their seven-odd seasons. Not sure what Swansea classify as a major trophy, but I assume it's the same non-Major milky trophy that Nodge pretend to think is a major trophy.
Otherwise, much the same, but Swansea probably have the edge, thinking back to the eighties.

Yeah I was going to mention that. Do they know our European record? Mentioning that they beat Valencia away is the most tinpot thing to come out of any of this.
