We have access ‘again’ to Brightons recruitment system this season. Whilst good to have the access, surely it’s not ideal if we lose it again if promoted? What kinds of alternatives do we have in place? Just makes you wonder

I believe we are building are own in parallel but it would take time.

It's interesting if we are using it because I'm sure I read before they only.licence it to 1-2 teams in a division (I would think maybe more but they don't just give it to everyone). So not sure if another promoted club was using it so a slot became free.

Ah I may have read that from you then Phil :). I'd actually be amazed if that was true though as that removes a huge revenue stream. And the way to get more using it is the fear of missing out. I could understand restricting it to say 10. Otherwise we are very lucky to be the ones to get it back.

It does seem a really hard thing stop us just stealing the data. Unless you pay per profile you unlock based on a search or something. Be curious to see how it works.

Building the database would be not even 1% of the effort. I daresay the Halo products already would be able to do it with a tiny bit of configuration.

If 10 teams all used the same system, they would all be trying to buy the same player/s. It probably needs to be more exclusive to gain buy into pay for the system.

If Brighton give the system to 10 clubs in the Championship, it wouldn’t have the unique factor, and diminish its worth, in my opinion.
