| Josh Sargent 08:41 - Nov 4 with 4632 views | NthQldITFC | My nodger mate swears blind that Sargent is coming here if Leeds don't bid for him in January. I don't think he's really Prem quality, and whilst I think his style of play would suit our 9 role down to the ground, I've never been that keen because he seems a bit fragile. But is this because Nodge tend to thrash him for 90 minutes every week? (tbh I'm not sure if they do or not?) Could he do 40 or 60 minute high energy stints for us? | |

I think that if we found ourselves in that position we would be looking for a player at a much higher level than Josh Sargent, admirable fellow as I’m sure he is.

Na I rate him, without his injury record he'd be at a higher level than the Championship.

Really? I don’t recall him being on the pitch when we played them. (Granted, that’s not a big sample of games).

| After the comments from their owner…. on 09:09 - Nov 4 with 3341 views | Bloots | ….last week, I highly doubt they will ever sell us another player. Which, let’s face it, is no great loss anymore. They are predominantly crap, including the curly, ginger yank. | |

He does! Buy him, make sure next season’s away kit is like Ronald McDs and if nothing else it’d be funny. Talking of funny, oh the rage in Norfolk if that were to happen. It’d be worth it even if we then loaned him out somewhere. I suspect the two muppets that do their podcast might actually explode. I confess, I think he’s a good player that’d suit the way we are trying to play. [Post edited 4 Nov 9:31]

I wouldn't say his work rate is as high as Azon or Hirst but he brings others into play and has a better touch certainly than Hirst He looks a smarter player than Hirst to me and probably does habe a decent relationship with Nunez no doubt

| Josh Sargent on 09:34 - Nov 4 with 3047 views | RegencyBlue | No chance after the flak the owners have taken over Nunez! He will need to move in January though if he wants to be involved in the World Cup. There is talk of his agent offering him around but it won’t be here. | | | |
| Josh Sargent on 09:38 - Nov 4 with 2997 views | ringwoodblue | Sarg is past his best before date imho. We defo need a striker in Jan like the Kieffer Moore signing in the 23/24 season but not Ronald McDonald. | |

We do. For those that went to QPR, Kone was getting a lot of praise on here a few weeks ago. What was he like? Was he the answer?

| Josh Sargent on 10:07 - Nov 4 with 2664 views | GavTWTD | The owner has stated that he wouldn't have sanctioned the Nunez move so there's no chance of this happening. edit. Though that may be hindsight and said just to appease their very unhappy supporters

| Josh Sargent on 10:08 - Nov 4 with 2656 views | cookra | i believe the initial rumour was him and Nunez were going to sign at the same time! The deal fell through last minute with Sargent over fee supposedly. Could you imagine the meltdown if that was true!!! Also having Sargent up top would be incredible, top top championship striker | |

If they are still around the relegation places in January and Sargent goes I genuinely think they're getting relegated. I was about to type if he came to us their fans would go into meltdown, but I am not really sure what that would look like for them, 10 tennis balls? [Post edited 4 Nov 10:29]

| Josh Sargent on 10:37 - Nov 4 with 2354 views | football | Given everything that has happened, I can't see them selling to us, despite how hilarious that would be. But I suspect he will be keen to leave and depends who else may be in for him. If he wants to come he may make it happen and force a move | | | |

Think the only way it happens is if he threatens to run down his contract and leave on a free if he doesn't come here. It would still be a hard sell to the fan base even with that.
