My nodger mate swears blind that Sargent is coming here if Leeds don't bid for him in January. I don't think he's really Prem quality, and whilst I think his style of play would suit our 9 role down to the ground, I've never been that keen because he seems a bit fragile. But is this because Nodge tend to thrash him for 90 minutes every week? (tbh I'm not sure if they do or not?) Could he do 40 or 60 minute high energy stints for us? |  |

I wouldn't say his work rate is as high as Azon or Hirst but he brings others into play and has a better touch certainly than Hirst
He looks a smarter player than Hirst to me and probably does habe a decent relationship with Nunez no doubt | |

The owner has stated that he wouldn't have sanctioned the Nunez move so there's no chance of this happening.

i believe the initial rumour was him and Nunez were going to sign at the same time!
The deal fell through last minute with Sargent over fee supposedly.
Could you imagine the meltdown if that was true!!!

Think the only way it happens is if he threatens to run down his contract and leave on a free if he doesn't come here. It would still be a hard sell to the fan base even with that. | |
