| Festive points haul? 21:48 - Dec 21 with 2313 views | ArnieM | 4 games in a short space of time, with 12 points up for grabs.... only one of those at home. How do we think we'll do? Im going with this.... Millwall (a) WIN Coventry (a) draw Oxford ( H) WIN Pompey ( a) WIN 10points | |

| Festive points haul? on 21:54 - Dec 21 with 1769 views | SomethingBlue | Another tough run that will, in those three away games, almost certainly contain a disappointment whether people can handle it or not. Boro, by contrast, have three at home so we do need to pull something out of the bag. Feels like seven points to me, which would keep us right in there. Anything above that and we'll be superbly placed. [Post edited 21 Dec 21:54]

7/12 - you’d take that? Wow. The bar is very low. With the millions we have spent. Highly paid manager. 7 would be extremely poor. Minimum 10.

don't be daft, win your home games and draw your aways is par for a top 2 finish, 7 would be very decent (particularly given that 2 of the away ones are against sides in the top 6), 10 fantastic

I’d agree if we had that ‘par for a top 2 finish’ return from our 22 games so far, but we haven’t.

That's just an unrealistic expectation for a run that involves those first 2 away games, let alone over the crazy Christmas period with games coming thick and fast. 10 points would be a really good return from those 4.

There’s no way Town will win at Coventry …. Let’s see if that works.

but that's what i'm saying, why should we feel entitled to get 10 points (4 better than par), if we've not managed par so far?

| Festive points haul? on 08:31 - Dec 22 with 910 views | NthQldITFC | I think we'll win 'em all. Millwall being the toughest, but they're on poor run and missing their best player. Cov will want to attack us, and we'll take full advantage of that. Oxford - Grrr! Revenge Pompey - Agent Chappers will give us all the info we need. | |

Yep, we keep hearing how we are going to improve. If Hirst is out, could be difficult too. At least Brennan Johnson will be here for Oxford I guess.

For all the (justified) chat that Hirst hasn't been on it this season, we look a better team when he plays IMO. Hopefully it was just a minor issue on Saturday.

| Festive points haul? on 08:54 - Dec 22 with 785 views | Herbivore | I'd take 8 or 9 points from this block of games. Millwall really aren't very good despite being top 6 and I'm not convinced that Coventry are anything special either and their squad has been showing signs of creaking a bit. Oxford and Pompey we have to be looking at winning, win one of the other two or draw both and that's a decent return. If we get more than that it'll have been a brilliant Christmas. Less than that and the gap to second may well grow again as we move past the halfway point. | |

And where exactly are those 12 goals coming from? Philogene and Clarke? Azon and Akpom need to start scoring and we need more from Egeli.
