I agree with the OP (albeit it's not just the BBC, every news channel does this) and those who have mentioned people winning celebrity shows and presenters leaving celebrity shows. The work schedule of Claudia Winkleman is not news.
See also reports that heavy traffic is expected on the days leading up to Christmas, on bank holidays etc. If people can't work out for themselves that the traffic will be heavy on such occassions, there's no helping them. And it's not news! |  |
