| Personally, I loved Nunez today 02:23 - Apr 12 with 2690 views | TresBonne | Came on, kicked the f**ck out of the scum for fifteen minutes, came off again. Ultimate housery. In all seriousness a bit of a plonker and probably should’ve been off, but what a legend. So funny | | | | |

| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 02:46 - Apr 12 with 2279 views | Minneapolis_ITFC | Couldn't see all that went on but understand riled the opposition fan base to considerable length so it's all good. Yes fortunate to maybe remain on the field but by all account the referee was weak or inefficient. Was surprised featured given the propensity for abuse from home fans following his switch and possible effect on our performance but guess it worked out rather well by the end. | | | |
| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 06:41 - Apr 12 with 2038 views | gainsboroughblue | Given that some of their fans, and also dare I say it an ex player, wanted someone to actually physically injure Nunez, I find their uproar of his cameo absolutely hilarious and a bit rich personally so I have feck all sympathy for them. If you can't take it, don't dish it out. And for them to claim some kind of 'win' that he went off after 20 mins is beyond funny but I suppose that's all they have got now. | |

| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 06:55 - Apr 12 with 1988 views | USA | Disagree. Dressing up his behaviour as ‘did a good job winding up Norwich fans/players etc’ is b0llox. It was quite feasible he gets sent off at the second tackle, it gives the crowd and Norwich team a big lift, changes the momentum and we draw 2-2 or worse. It was embarrassing that he couldn’t control his emotions and he gets away with it because of the result. If we’d failed to take 3 points every single person at ITFC would’ve been fuming, and renaming him Agent Nunez! | |

He hasn’t got away with it, McKenna will deal with it but luckily he didn’t get sent off and we won 2-0 so no need to worry about what could have happened.

Why are you losing your sh*t about something that could've happened? It didn't. It's something in your imagination. Whether it was meant to happen or not, in reality, it was a superb distraction. Norwich totally lost their heads about it, and it totally derailed the match. Barely any form of football happened in his 20 minute cameo. I'd call that a great bit of sh*thousery. A masterstroke, in my eyes, whether meant, or not! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Probably agree to be honest. In hindsight it worked out, and there is an element of that being his character I think, he does strike me as a ‘passionate’ South American and culturally derby matches are very passionate affairs there. The whole corner flag thing isn’t uncommon for example. There was a lot of narrative around him yesterday and he kind of played up to it. I don’t see him playing like that against anyone else, he was too fired up rather than just letting his football do the talking. God knows what he would’ve done if Azon could’ve finished his dinner when Nunez put him through. I doubt McKenna being the calming, percentages, controlled type was massively impressed hence hooking him. It’s not just yesterday where a red would’ve been damaging, I expect we plan to start him at Pompey which he could’ve been banned for. It’ll be a quiet word I think and a ‘you’re starting Tuesday, go and give your teammates a big performance’. No harm done, not worth dwelling on, but more by luck than judgement.
| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 08:02 - Apr 12 with 1580 views | ITFC_Forever | As has been said in other threads, it worked in the sense that the whole time he was on the pitch they were more worried about winding him up than trying to get back in the game. The first one he only got booked because their players tried to start a scrimmage and the ref felt he had to do something. I actually missed the second one as I’d looked down at my phone… | |

Agree with first two paragraphs but, watching on the telly and listening to Radio Norfolk, thought that the withdrawal was a bit of a climbdown and the budgie support knew it. Had hoped he would slam that free kick when he came on into the net, not least because of the Nodge shirt that was draped over the wall at the front of the grasssnakepit with c**t printed underneath his name and above the number, clearly visible on the coverage during his first half warm up. | Personally, I loved Nunez today on 09:48 - Apr 12 with 1161 views | Chrisd | I think we’d all have felt differently this morning if he’d been sent off, which he should’ve been and we ended up giving away our 2 goal advantage. Really poor by Nunez bearing in mind he was on the pitch for 20mins and he had job to do to. Far too emotional. I was pleased KM took him off, he was proving a liability. [Post edited 12 Apr 14:22]

lol. Not sure I lost my shizzle in my post did I? I quite simply don’t agree with the OP. I realise it doesn’t matter due to the result. I explicitly said he got away with it due the result. Have a great Sunday!!

| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 09:58 - Apr 12 with 1119 views | franz_tyson | I truly wonder how bad those tackles were. I think after every tackle there was an over-exagerated reaction from the player and the crowd. It became a pantomime. And the ref was aware of it. Kieran did right, though. It was building up more and more to a second yellow and to be fair to Nunez he has to be able to tackle. It was getting to the stage where he couldn't even attempt to tackle. If the only way back for Norwich was to play against 10 men then that says a lot about them as a team. | | | |

| Personally, I loved Nunez today on 14:42 - Apr 12 with 761 views | KBsSocks | I enjoyed it, too - could have been a completely different story if he'd had a second yellow, though, especially as KMc said "stop it" and he didn't. So, lucky overall. The yellow I thought was the most stupid was Leif's for the push - that was unnecessary and wasteful. Good, and necessary, substitutions to stop any of the yellows becoming a red. | |
