Spurs, to highlight how ridiculous the breakaway league was.

Spurs.
Either would be fun, but as a reminder to the "big clubs" that football is a broader sport than just them, that they need to build a system that supports all not just a few, and to remind them that for the grace of god they can all go down, it would be useful for it to be Spurs.

West Ham. Horrible experience as an away fan, in a stadium they essentially were given. Hideous owner - Sullivan - and some of their fanbase too.

Spurs being relegated will be funny but I’m guessing that quite a few administrative staff are currently very worried about their jobs if they do go down. Let’s face it, it won’t be the players that will face that burden.

Think West Ham will however go down - be interesting to see their stadium in the championship in terms of how empty it may become.

I think it is what is known as a win win situation. Will be funny whichever of them goes.

I dislike West ham more than Norwich, so I'd be delighted if they go down. Having said that Spurs going down would be hilarious, so as you say, win win.

Don't really mind which - shame they can't both go.

That said, I think of the two teams struggling, West Ham are more likely to continue struggling than Spurs who I would imagine would sort themselves out better for next season if they stay up.

Spuds just because it would be funnier as they haven't been in the second tier and spam have. But seeing Spams awful souls ground with those stupid bubbles empty next season would be funny.
As others have said, win win

Spurs would be the funniest one, but I can take a lot of solace from it being West Ham too.

I'm enjoying seeing the prevailing mood in this thread.

Spurs have been in the second tier in my lifetime, too young to remember it though.

I'd suggest Spurs are more likely to finish above us next season than West Ham, so I'd rather Spurs get relegated for that reason alone.

And, surely, if we are going to stay up next season competing against West Ham is going to give us a better chance than having Spurs in there isn't it?

It isn't just about beating them, though, is it? It's about finishing ahead of 3 teams. I reckon West Ham gives us a much better chance of that than Spurs would. But that is also why, having made the change of manager, Spurs will stay up too.

Of course, we can beat either of them (if we are going to be good enough to stay up).

Wess Ham. Dislike them and their stadium immensely. Also remember the robbery that was the cup semi final at Stamford Bridge in 1975 and the two play off losses to them. Will be good to be in a higher division than them next season.

Spurs for the comedy value, plus West Ham are a side we could potentially target to finish above next season. That said, I wouldn't be at all unhappy to see West Ham go down either.

West Ham would be a safer bet to go down next season. Spurs won't be tragic forever. We'd be better off if West Ham stayed up as they are due a drop (like Wolves were). Leeds and Sunderland may suffer with second season syndrome too.
