By the way the EFL have proper fudged the scheduling up for these play-offs IMO, could’ve easily had a few more days in between the legs. Tonight’s game clashes with a big PL game ffs.
The Brit in me would be happy to see them to come up as they’ve been overlooked all season. They’re seen as the underdog despite being better than the other two, oddly.
I’m not that fussed though - given the state of the first legs, I’ll cheer on anyone who has a real go and scores a few.
I can’t say I care really, I don’t understand the love in for Millwall on here. They probably deserve it having finished 3rd but Hull have arguably had as good a season given the circumstances there.
Millwall have more than their fair share of nobs in the fanbase, and I’ve thought Alex Neil is a bit of a rat since his Norwich days tbh.
Feck em, hope Hull stick 4 past them.

Yeah, seems to be a fetishisation of Millwall as a 'proper' football club that are somehow different to everyone else going on which is a bit tedious imo.
Plus as you say - people actively cheering on an ex-Norwich manager ffs.
Up the bloody Tigers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Millwall fans seem to have an high opinion of themselves -no one likes us and all that jazz. Nah, very few give a damn about them. A dull tedious club in south London

There is very little quality on this pitch tonight. Huge amounts of hard work/graft/discipline, but the amount of good football is proper low.
Nearly x4 hours of Championship play-off football so far and it’s been pretty turgid from all four teams.
I guess the prize is so huge now, no one’s willing to take many risks.
Reckon there’ll have been an awful lot of penalty practise over the last few days and it’s gonna come down to kids on hills filming it on their mobiles and who can get to the opposing goalkeeper’s water bottle first…
It used to great on here when people let me say whatever I wanted and giggled along - (Rough translation of post from un-named TWTD contributor, 2026)

I can't help thinking we'd have scored at least one goal over two matches, had we been in this position.
Horrible club, Horrible fanbase. They're just a bunch of coked up posers. Would love to see them swap positions with Leicester or Sheffield Wednesday. Those are proper clubs with proper fans. Millwall turn up only for big games and big fights.
