When/if there is a time when its acceptable to feel a little hmmm about the state of play at present
Its not that weve ever been prolific in june anyway but with everything going on and the club knowing 3 weeks ago what was accuring.. when does everything need to be in place to get a solid start to the season. A week and a bit to go before july and weve no manager. No signings ( im not suprised so not bemoaning it as such) weve not finished the training ground either
Just seems like.the last prem promotion summer was messed up a bit with the whole will he wont he go. This time round its been similar but with him going but taken again a while to decide.
We have no manager and the transfer window has been open for less than 3 days. Not entirely sure what you're expecting to happen. We will sort the manager and then things will move on from there.

Personally i thought based on timelines that we would have announced a new manager on the weekend just passed. But thats must my own feelings.

Things take time especially when you're hiring someone with quality. I also think if it was someone free like Solksjaer it would be done much quicker, so I suspect there's negotiations with another club taking place (no def info here)
Yeah, its only (checks diary) over 2 months before the start of the season.
I would suggest minor fear at the moment, leading to blind panic by Thursday week.
Sorry, but serious answer is, nothing really happens in June, especially when theres a World Cup going on.

You begin the ground work on july/aug signings for example. You tie up all your friendlies that still need to be confirmed. Theres coaching changes other areas of recruitment happens in this period.
Last summer the jokes were made like yours then. Check notes only... left. And look how our aug and sept went.

Not sure why people are having a pop at you for this. IF as is widely agreed, that McKenna let MA know weeks before us, then I would have thought the new manager would also have been announced by now. I am not in any panic about it, but I also do not understand the wait. I am sure there is plenty going on that we don't need to know, but surely we can't be that hard a sell.

You have literally no idea what has been and is going on at the club. Your posts can sometimes be enough to depress the most optimistic of fans. Please don't start this now. I think nobody knows more than MA what and important time this is and I am sure with plenty of others they are looking into the things that keeps Frimmers awake at night.

What should have happened last summer though? And similarly now? What good does being impatient do? Being impatient or moaning isn't some sort of right answer. Things take as long as they take. The alternative is rushing and doing things in a less thought out way, settling, all the things that were discussed last summer and the summer before and the summer before.
