But I always take those with a huge pinch of salt (no offence), they also list Fatawu as having the lowest score by miles, but I've heard some say he actually played ok.

Played very maturely. Kept Grealish very quiet and looked strong in 1v1s and with the ball. Gem of a player I think.
Fatawu was our biggest threat going forward I feel, just a bit silly with the avoidable cards. Could have argued GON taking him off earlier but is what it is. |  | | |

This always seemed like the reason we'd not gone after anyone else for the right. The plan could never have been to have O'Shea and Furlong as the two for that position. Glad to see we've actually seen it now and that it looks like we can stop worring about that position. Now we have to move onto whether O'Shea and greave may be our best CB pairing lol |  |

I said to my mate this morning that I thought GON's biggest frustration would have been that he looked like he was our best chance of making something happen, as opposed to being down to 10 men.

Walloped a shot too that would have given Pickford something to think about if it’d gone a little to either side. Obviously if there was any justice it would have just pinballed off someone and gone in like half the goals against us seem to, but no. | | | |

He's got to be better than both Mick Mills and George Burley to be that! And Terry Butcher played there, excellently, when first breaking through, sometimes.
But he looks excellent. He sometimes gives the winger a bit too much space by drifting centrally a touch too much, but that will come with games. He has decent laces an incredible engine, very good touch and is an absolute team man who recycles the ball with the percentage pass, rather than trying to be the hero. | | | |

He was great, looks an absolute steal and is quick (of thought as well as literally).
Fatawu was actually our biggest threat - for me it's ridiculous that all gets forgotten and people just focus on the sending off when coming to do the scores. In fact I felt so strongly about that I made him the star of my latest poem (available after every game in the Blogs section of this very website!)
