Spent 250 Million Euros and they've still been relying on Olliver Giroud to smash in the goals. Silva will be on a solid contract too. Points per game at the start of the month was the lowest of any manager in the Abramovich era.

Someone like Tuchel to come in?

He did a decent job last season when they couldn't sign players and now they've been able to do so he's not been able to cope with that squad and the demands that brings.

Hi did OK last season, and only missed one transfer window (and also had a new player arrive in Pulisic).

Had a decent squad.

I like Frank and think hes a bright guy, but better Chelsea managers have been sacked for less.

Olliver Giroud - quite possibly one of the most under rated strikers about to be fair.

Did a really good job last season, then 3 windows worth of players turned up, the majority with no PL experience, and he's struggled.

It takes players from Bundesliga and Dutch league best part of a year or so to settle - and you wouldn't want to bring in Werner, Havertz and Ziyech in one window in normal circumstances.

No surprise that out of all the new additions, it's Chilwell who has settled quickest - the PL is a different beast.

I think he'll make a good manager somewhere, and this is one Chelsea will live to regret

Benitez has just left his job in China, he can work well under a nightmare owner.

Apparently he's planning on 'resting for a bit'.

Which, given the amount of work Lambert puts in here means we can't rule him out for the ITFC job.

Would be a good fit for Celtic.

Go up there, reset his career, and come back down.

The SPL could do with two big English names managing their two 'big' clubs to give their league some glamour.

Their version of Magilton - did a good job until the money came in.

I feel they’re too trigger happy but Evans is too much the other way.

Either way, given the lack of public comment from Chelsea or Ipswich manager, it does feel rather like the silence of the Lams.

Worst PPG record under Abramovich ownership. Even after spending £200m.

Can Lampard and Gerrard play together in the same city?
