Gill seems a bit different though, in that he actually comes across quite well and a level headed guy.
Taylor just seemed to echo anything Lambert said, and Walker just seemed to say odd things on Twitter. We all know about Norwood on there but you kind of expect coaching staff to be above that, don't you? |  |

Good move.
Never warmed to him. Apparently he was well liked but can't see that his coaching has helped improved much.
I know intelligence shouldn't come into with coaching but personally I would prefer to employ coaches that are bright as it helps when it comes to things said. Was never impressed by JWs comments and don't think coaches should be engaging with social media either.

I would agree with you on Gill, just that with Richardson likely to join plus Roberts and Dyer apparently impressing Cook that might be one coach too many.

Whilst he may speak well etc etc, I wouldn't want to work with someome from the previous managements regime. PC talks about Trust, I'd find it hard to have any with Gill and the players, especially after Gills 3 win involvement |  |

As long as they are a good coach and can convey their ideas, their intelligence has nothing to do with with.

Malcolm is a legend, I was coached by him for years, great coach, lovely bloke. When we was presumably earning good money coaching the town keepers by day, he would travel down from Cambridge a couple of nights a week to coach a load of enthusiastic kids at Kesgrave/Northgate. I still don't really see what Roberts brings to the party, apart from moral back-up for Cook in the early days. Very raw as a coach. Doesn't mean he won't be good, but I suspect if Richardson had been available he wouldn't be here. |  |
