Cheer up everyone... 09:34 - Nov 8 with 7802 views | itfcjoe | ....we are just getting on the other side of the margins after a start to the season when everything went our way. QPR, Sunderland, Southampton, Bristol City we saw a shot hitting both posts, a late wonder save, the ball hitting Hladky in the face, a shot squirming across the line and staying out. This is football, we do enough to win most games, but we aren't clearly better than the opposition like we were in League 1 so each win is big, each point is important and each game is a battle - even when playing the so called weaker teams. This little spell of getting on the wrong side of things has seen us accumulate 8 points from 4 games since the international break (1 home, 3 away). We are in a fantastic position - we've just forgotten as a fanbase that it isn't normal to win every game - Sheffield United went up last season and lost 11 games....we'd have to lose 10 out of 31 remaining for that......even if we do go up in the top 2 we are likely going to lose another 6 or 7 games this season There isn't a need for a big over analysis - when you listen to McKenna he’s already a few steps ahead. We aren’t playing our best team each game because we need to get Axel fit for December etc. Just managing the squad now and hope we are in a great position for the run in again - if that costs us some points at this time then that is clearly a price KM willing to pay to get everyone fit and purring for the business end of the season COYB

It didn't feel positive when I was having to traipse through villages at 1am last night with the A14 shut...! A win on Saturday will be massive and leave us in such a good position

Maintained 2ppg whilst not being at our fluid best with 3/4 games being away and missing several regulars We're doing more than alright. If this is our blip then that's absolutely fine by me. Cheer up everyone... on 09:48 - Nov 8 with 3946 views | Stewart27 | Articulated perfectly. I actually feel buoyed coming away from the last 2 away games undefeated. Will be nice to get the win on Saturday but it isn’t a must win game as another poster mentioned last night. Perspective is really needed here and now. Thankfully most posters aren’t reacting like they did in February after we drew a couple of games. We’re sitting incredibly pretty and if we can keep up the form of just the last few games (post international break) until the end of the season then we’ll be promoted by the time we eat our Easter eggs. December is a big month and I’d take niggles and illness all day long right now. Ps we really miss Burns.

Cheer up everyone... on 10:15 - Nov 8 with 3789 views | Guthrum | We still haven't lost a game on the road. Only beaten once at home (with zero draws). Leeds have gained just one point on us and we're actually closer to Leicester than we were.

Over the last five games Leicester, Leeds and Blackburn have gained a whole point over us, Southampton have matched us and everybody else has fallen further behind. Sh!t, isn't it!

It was interesting to hear he was always planning on playing Tuanzebe in that game, really shows we are level above, and Tuanzebe will be a difference maker when he is back to full fitness. Showed his class in moments last night.

Cheer up everyone... on 10:25 - Nov 8 with 3709 views | Churchman | Spot on Joe. An average of two points a game is never a bad thing. Thinking of the big picture, I doubt many people could have foreseen two years ago when Cook was booted out where we’d be now. We are progressing on and off the field. I’ve of course no idea what the owners’ expectancy is, but they’ve certainly exceeded mine. The business end of a season is definitely February on - a time where we’ve often faded over the decades, mainly due to running out of players. It happened with Robson’s great teams and indeed Burley’s and Royle’s promotion chasing sides. McKenna’s team of course did the complete opposite last season and I’ll bet he’ll be looking for the same this time.

Well yes but that's not what you said was it and Im still really happy with the season. Certainly not down to be told cheer up, and can't see anyone who needs cheering up either. it's all rather odd.

When I logged on this morning, this was what I could see on the preview of the board without clicking into any threads: Jackson and Ladapo simply not up to it My concern is the downward trend of performances Robbed by the Ref... by BseaBlue 7 Nov 22:00 But also can't hide from some poor individual performances tonight Down to end product tonight What we learnt tonight by nodge_blue 7 Nov 22:51 We were sloppy in possession alot. Is the end product the biggest issue? We are still so incredibly frustrating to watch.

You said “terrible result” last night. Poster is saying “cheer up” to people like you. It’s really not difficult joining the dots here. Not sure why you are even challenging it.
