These days you can't even sexually harass someone without the woke brigade getting their knickers in a twist.

It's elf n safety gone mad.

He is an interesting example of Phrenological Determinism

Nominative Determinism is where a persons name indicates something about them, a characteristic or their job....like Mr De'ath, the undertaker in Bildeston

Phrenological Determinism is when the persons head shape indicates similar something

In the case of Wallace G, former potato merchant has a head that very much resembles a mis-shapen potato

Vile mysogynistic shouty potato head man with a very high opinion of himself

A perfict fit for GB News

Now claiming middle class women of a certain age don't get his bantz. It will be the metropolitan elite next, so yes a shoo in for GBNs lamentable ' comedy news review' section.

Absolutely no shock at all, one of TV's biggest sleazebags.

A young blonde could serve him a turd on toast and he would enthuse of how good she was and put her through on MasterChef.

Ballsy? I don’t find his response determined or courageous, just a little embarrassing as a means of defence /excuse.

Sometimes the wise thing to do is just stfu and let things run their course, this has just fuelled everything more.

I agree with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's view on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg this morning: "I don't know Wallace well but he generally seems a nice guy, a professional presenter, and one of my chefs is currently on the show and doing well. It seems to me he just has a bit of a bawdy sense of humour, but I don't think his latest comments are helpful... I can understand the compulsion when you feel you're being backed into a corner, but now is probably the time not for talk but to listen."

Quite like the fact he came out punching. And let’s face it, it’s mostly saucy banter. Not like he’s Catholic Church allowing and covering up industrial-scale acts of rape against children.

Not that it matters on a football forum.

Indeed. Wrongness needs to be called out, but let's not go overboard and demand people are cancelled for saucy banter (if that's all it is). It diminishes genuine problems and just provides fuel to the anti-woke brigade.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Yes, Greg. And the kind of people who deny sexual harassment accusations like this tend to be fat, bald men of a certain age…

the actual incidents which have been quoted online are at the low end of inappropriate behaviour. other than involving someone famous it doesn't (in terms of what has been detailed to date) merit being headline news. there is no sense of proportionality in the reporting. the lawyers' investigation will be interesting in whether it even meets the threshold for harassment.

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show

I have watched Masterchef for years and have no particular opinion of the bloke except that I think he is a bit of an odd bodd and quite possibly a bit tapped.

John Torode said a few years ago that they are not friends and never socialise. He went on to say that they have never visited each other houses and something along the lines of Wallace wouldn't invite Torode round because of his OCD and wouldn't want to go to Torodes as he would fret about it so much that by the time he got there he would be in meltdown............or sumfink like that.

On the surface of it the silly innuendo's are not a big news story but the fact Rod the Mod has come out with something makes me think there is no smoke without fire.

i don't really watch his programmes. he may well bit a bit weird and not well liked, but reporting what he is supposed to have done as if it's a major national scandal makes me think we've collectively lost the plot about how serious stuff is.
